These Frames are stub ducts that adapt SHX pressure vents, and Dynamic weather louvre, into thin walls, doors and cladding. They facilitate surface mounting of pressure vents inside containers or other thin walls, and provide weatherproof cover boxes for protruding vent bodies. They also allow neat installation of Dynamic weather louvre onto exterior building cladding.
This intumescent grille can be installed with an SHX pressure vent to achieve a 60-minute insulation value. Free vent area of the grille has been blast tested to show no loss of pressure relief when along with a SHX vent.
